Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah

I was at work last night until 5am and ended up sleeping until after 2:30pm today. Of course, being sick doesn't help on that one. And what do I do when I'm awake? I spent the day cleaning; cleaning my car, cleaning my apartment, spending time at Target buying things related to cleaning my apartment. Minus getting a haircut and a little work on this site, I haven't done anything but things related to cleaning all day. Of course, what am I going to do tomorrow? I’m going to do more cleaning. At least until my family shows up in the late afternoon.

Overall the past few weeks that I haven't really been blogging has been a pretty regular schedule of schoolwork (boring and way to easy after a year of law school), working on my thesis (I feel way behind and the school dragging it's feet on some things related to it isn't helping), and work. Because of this, and because of how messed up my sleep schedule is now thanks entirely to the C-J, I am now thankful that this semester will be my last in school for some time. I usually enjoyed my co-ops, when there was real work to do, and my previous full time jobs, but I never thought I'd miss a 9-5 schedule. But I'm ready to put in my 40 hours a week at some 9-5, run of the mill, computer job. No weirder course schedules, no more pseudo 3rd shift B.S. and a blessed regular night of sleep and a healthy diet.

I really think that the thing I miss most from my old schedules, even the one before I started at the C-J, was the ability to eat a decent meal and get some real exercise. These are two things I never thought that I'd taken for granted.

Hopefully I'll find some way to settle into a better routine and pick back up all of the things I miss. Regardless, I'm looking forward to a trip (possibly two) out of town. It's going to be fun to watch UofL's football team squash USF's in two weeks.
