Whispering Hills

I uploaded some pictures from my trip with Sarah's family this past weekend to the gallery last night. It’s a bit different spending so much time with her family. I’ve never been one to hang out with family all that much, not really even my own to a very large degree.

This past weekend we ended up heading up to Amish country in Ohio. Of course, this ended up being about a five hour drive one way. While Sarah and her family stayed in a camper I was put in a “rustic cabin” (read: shed) on the campgrounds with her uncle and one of her cousins.

Most of the weekend consisted of just sitting around a campfire (it was a bit chilly up in Northern Ohio) and talking or reading books. Some of the kids had brought bikes and spent most of the weekend biking around the grounds. Sarah and I just ended up taking several walks. On one side of the grounds there was a small gorge that we ended up climbing down into. It ended up being a pleasant weekend overall.
