Miller vs. Matthews
I've never been a fan of Matthews and Hardboiled on MSNBC. His treatment of his guests has generally been appalling when I use to watch his show. So, after all this, and especially since his treatment of Michelle Malkin a few weeks ago, this exchange with Zell Miller was something I actually enjoyed.
I'll second Dodd's comments though that Zell could have done more in response to Matthews comments about Malkin.

I'm glad Zell Miller's working for us! Matthews is a cocky little punk and I'm glad Zell worked him over.

Matthews ask a simple question about clarification on his metaphor... I fail to see how that constitutes poor treatment. Politicians of all sorts dodge the truth and Matthews has attacked them in both parties to seek out the truth. He shocks them and puts them into uncomfortable places that force them to be a little bit more honest, because a lie in that situation is less easy to defend later.
